Andrea Mingardi

Andrea Mingardi, Ph.D. has been R&D Team Leader for Compute lithography for 1 year. As R&D Team Leader I am tasked to define and guide the selection of lithography processes and alignment schemes needed for the advancement of IMEC’s Logic and BEoL programs and to foresee gaps for the continuation of IMEC’s roadmap.

Prior to joining IMEC, Mingardi was working as a consultant R&D lithography engineer at TMC Belgium, consulting for IMEC. During his 5 years at TMC, Mingardi worked on the lithography development for several of IMEC’s internal programs, from RDL scaling down to CFET patterning. 

Mingardi received a Ph.D. Degree in Engineering from Wright State University, Dayton, OHIO and a Master Degree in Electrical Engineering from Università degli Studi di Parma, Parma, Italy. During his Ph.D., Mingardi worked and demonstrated THz generation based on the extrinsic photoconductivity of Er-Doped GaAs antenna.
