Valeria Bertacco

Valeria Bertacco is the Mary Lou Dorf Professor and a Thurnau Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of Michigan. Her research focuses on specialized architecture solutions and design viability, in particular reliability, validation, and hardware-security assurance. Prof. Bertacco leads the MAVERIC collaborative, coordinating the University of Michigan's endeavors in advancing research and education in microelectronics and semiconductors.  
 
Prof. Bertacco serves as the Vice Provost for Engaged Learning, supporting all co-curricular engagements and international partnerships for the institution. She joined the University of Michigan in 2003.
