Petra Van Mulders - Project Manager, Colruyt Group Smart Technics

Bio

Petra Van Mulders has a background in experimental high-energy particle physics (PhD 2010) and worked for 14 years in large international research collaborations, e.g. at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, where she obtained leadership roles. In 2020, shemoved from academia to industry and joined Flanders Make as a project manager for projects involving drones. Petra became drone cluster manager of EUKA (the Flemish drone federation) and team leader for projects related to autonomous vehicles. In 2022 she decided to fully invest her energy in bringing innovation to reality in tangible applications and became project manager within Colruyt Group Smart Technics. In this role she uses computer vision and robotics to realize projects and products which do not only improve your shopping experience but also make the daily work of her Colruyt Group colleagues in the shops and in the supply chain even more attractive.
