Ilsup Jin

Ilsup Jin serves as the SVP and Head of DRAM/NAND Technology Development at SK hynix's R&D Center. In this role, he oversees the innovation and advancement of next-generation DRAM and NAND technologies, along with strategizing the future technology roadmap. Prior to his current position, Jin was at the forefront of pioneering memory research and development. He led the New Architecture Research Group, focusing on future memory R&D, followed by a leadership role in the DRAM Process Integration Group in DRAM Product Division. There, he was in charge of developing premium DRAM products and transitioning them to high-volume manufacturing. Jin started his semiconductor career at Intel, where he started as a Process Integration Engineer. He had technical leadership roles, contributing to the development projects of 32nm, 14nm, 10nm, and 7nm technology nodes Jin earned his Ph.D. degree in materials science and engineering from University of California, Los Angeles.
