Biography

Sneha – Program Manager, Liquid Sensing Technologies, imec the Netherlands

Sneha started her career at imec in 2018 post completing her master’s in chemical engineering at Delft University of Technology, Netherlands. Over the years, her focus has been on development of sensors (for aqueous media) in the internet of things domain together with characterization, and real-life validation of sensors in liquids under various circumstances – from open water monitoring to sensing in greenhouses. A key lesson has been not underestimating the challenges in taking things from lab to fab to field.

Currently in the role of Program Manager for liquid sensing activities at imec Eindhoven, The Netherlands, she works closely together with the scientific team and other program lines to define the roadmap, strategy, and execution of the various sensing activities. The mission: incorporate all the learnings from past and work on disruptive liquid sensing strategies in the health domain. Passionate about application-oriented research that immediately finds value with end-users, she acts as the link between the outside world and the team, weaving needs with innovative solutions.
