Wouter Haerick

Wouter Haerick - Director Research Valorization at IDLab, an imec research group at UGent 

Wouter Haerick is Director Research Valorization at imec-IDLab Ghent. In this role, he establishes new industry partnerships, especially in the field of Artificial Intelligence.

Wouter Haerick received his master’s degree in Electrotechnical Engineering from Ghent University, Belgium, in June 2001. After completing his studies, he started working for Accenture. 

In 2007, he obtained an MBA from Vlerick Leuven Management School and two years later a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Ghent University. Wouter also has extensive experience in technology transfer and co-founding of innovative companies.
