Filippo Ferraro

Filippo Ferraro is a program manager of the R&D program on optical I/O at imec in Leuven, Belgium. He obtained a degree in physics engineering from the Politecnico di Torino in 2012 and a Ph.D. from the University of Grenoble Alpes in Physics in 2015. After graduation, he joined Seagate Technology (UK) as a senior RnD engineer, working on the next generation on Heat Assisted Magnet Recording Hard Disk Drive. He joined imec in 2018 and where he has been working on advancing silicon photonics technology.
