Ya-Mi Chuang

Yami Chuang is the power-to-molecules program manager of imec. The program addresses net-zero challenges through converting renewable energy to green hydrogen and valuable hydrocarbons. Yami has 13-year experience in various industries, including semiconductors, chemical manufacturing, and clean-tech.  She holds a doctoral degree in polymer chemistry from The University of Queensland, Australia, working on reducing the photoresist line-edge roughness (LER). Later, during her professional life, she had pursued a master degree in business administration (MBA) in Imperial College, UK. Yami joined imec in 2022. Before imec, she was a technical manager and market specialist in Huntsman corporation. She also has consultant experience in sustainability applications, including, biomethane, nitrate management, and waste oil recycling.
